2018 Marine Equipment Trade Show – Bright Solar Marine Solutions

In 2018, Bright Solar took part in the 2018 Marine Equipment Trade Show, bringing our experience in solar panels into the marine field. For us, this show was not only about displaying products, but also about listening to people who really work on the water every day – boat owners, yacht builders and marine equipment distributors.
At the exhibition, our team introduced a range of marine solar panels and semi flexible solar panels designed for boats, yachts and small marine projects. Many visitors were especially interested in how a boat solar system can help reduce fuel use, support quiet power on board, and keep batteries charged during long stays at anchor. We showed how semi flexible panels can follow the curve of a yacht deck or cabin roof, making installation easier and more discreet.
For customers looking for yacht solar solutions and marine off grid power, we prepared simple system ideas combining solar modules, charge controllers and battery storage. Instead of talking only about data sheets, we spent time discussing real situations: limited roof space, sea salt corrosion, strong wind, shading from masts and antennas, and how to choose panel positions on different types of boats.
The 2018 Marine Equipment Trade Show also gave us a better understanding of what marine users expect from solar panels for boats: stable output, strong lamination, light weight and reliable waterproof performance. These conversations helped our engineers adjust product details after the show, especially on cable outlets and surface materials.
For Bright Solar, joining this marine exhibition was a useful step. It confirmed that our marine solar panels and semi flexible solar panels are not only suitable for land-based off grid systems, but also have solid potential in the marine market, from small fishing boats to leisure yachts.
